This article will help you find out how many fake followers someone has on these three social media platforms

We’ve all been there before. You wake up in the morning, check your Instagram and then see that you gained a hundred followers overnight. Maybe it’s because of that one post you made about getting out of bed with a bad mood and wanting to go back to sleep again? Or maybe because you put up an old photo from last year and got lucky?

But what if those hundred fake followers were actually very real people who are following you on purpose? And what if they’re out to bring your reputation down by sending spam messages? That would be pretty awful, wouldn’t it?! Well, whatever the case may be, this article will help you find out how many fake followers someone has on these three social media platforms.

WHAT CAUSES FAKE FOLLOWERS?

You might be wondering, why in the world would someone ever buy fake followers? There are so many different reasons for that. First of all, some people might do it just because they think no one will find out and if it looks big on Instagram or Twitter, then they will get more real followers. This theory is all right if you have over 1000+ followers on Instagram or Twitter but if your account is new and you have less than 1000 followers, then people will know that you bought your fake followers.

Another reason why people buy fake followers is if they want to cheat a contest. For example, most fashion bloggers and YouTubers make sure to buy fake followers in order to win an award for the best Instagram influencer or the most popular video on YouTube. Is it controversial? Oh, yes! But it’s not illegal either since no one can be arrested for buying fake followers.

HOW TO FIND FAKE FOLLOWERS ON INSTAGRAM

With a quick search, you can easily find out how many fake followers you have. There are two basic methods that will work on any social media platform:

  1. Look for your follower’s profile and click on the number of followers. (Example: If my current follower count is 2,500, then I can see that the current number of fake followers that I have are 300)
  2. Look for any spam messages that might spam your account. (Example: If you’re getting Instagram DM messages from a certain person or in a certain group, then you probably have fake followers on Instagram)

You can also also find out if you have specific numbers of followers who don’t seem to be real followers. For example, if someone has 1,000 friends and is following 30 accounts but doesn’t follow any other accounts back or check their profile daily, they might have fake Instagram followers.

HOW TO FIND FAKE FOLLOWERS ON TWITTER

Twitter doesn’t have a feature where you can see how many fake followers someone has but there is an easy way to find out if they have any at all. Just go up to the top of your feed and tap on the username of the person in question. Then just take a look at how many followers they have, their bio and how many people follow them. If there are too many fake accounts following them, you can be almost sure that they’ve bought followers for themselves. However, if they only have a few fake ones but still too many to be real then those fake accounts might be from Twitter’s fraud prevention system. That’s what happens when you try to follow too many people and they block your account from doing it any further.

HOW TO FIND FAKE FOLLOWERS ON TIKTOK

Finding fake followers on TikTok is easy and fun! Here’s how you do it: Go to the person’s profile, tap on “followers” in order to see the number and then tap on “more”. Select the option called “following”, then choose how many followers you want to see. After that, just select “show” and you will be able to see who are their real followers, who is following them but not following back, who isn’t following them at all etc. Now that you’ve found out the person, go to their bio and select “followers”. There are a lot of different ways to do it, but one way is by swiping up on the screen. If the number doesn’t change, then their followers are real while if it changes, they might be fake ones.

HOW TO FIND FAKE FOLLOWERS ON YOUTUBE

Finding fake followers on YouTube is a bit more complicated because there isn’t a feature that allows you to see how many fake accounts have been following you. But there is an easy way to find out if someone has bought fake subscribers on his or her channel. Just go to their profile and tap on “subscribers”. Then, choose how many you want to see and select “show”. There should be a line that says “Status”. If it says something like “Subscriber is unsubscribed”, then those are fake subscribers. However, if they are regular subscribers, then they are real.

CONCLUSION

Finding fake followers on Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube is really easy but not everyone can recognize them from a distance. A lot of people only realize that their friends or favorite artists have fake followers when they see too many numbers pop up on their screen at once.
